EATIC
Announces Reverse Trade And Investment Mission To USA From Ethiopia

After
a successful Trade & Investment Mission to Ethiopia on November
1999, the Ethio-American Trade & Investment Council (EATIC)
Board of Directors officially announced plans to launch a Reverse
Trade and Investment Mission to the U. S., at the end of September
2000.
The
Reverse Mission to the United States is designed to be a public-private
enterprise seeking and benefiting from the collaborative efforts
of the Ethiopian Government and its agencies, the United States
Embassy in Ethiopia and the U.S. public sector as well as Ethiopian
private sector representative led by Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce
and relevant business associations and groups in the United States.
The delegations will visit Washington, D.C., Atlanta, GA and Houston,
Texas between January 13 and 26, 2001.
Mr.
Gezahgen Kebede, President of EATIC has just returned from a visit
to Ethiopia after meeting with the appropriate Ethiopian Government
agencies, the U.S. Embassy Economic/Commercial office and the Addis
Ababa Chamber of Commerce.
